When I sold my home, I had a perfect experience with Tom DeGree & Dean Schlaak. I owned a 45 year old tract home that had been architecturally upgraded in addition to having a great back yard. These gentlemen fully understood the need to expose my property to a market that might have overlooked it due to the home’s age and neighborhood. They did a great listing online that allowed buyers to see the unique features of the home. With such great marketing, we agreed to a limit of 3 days on the market, with any and all Realtors scheduling showings. Traffic was non-stop, and by 5:00 on day three I had 8 offers. The “winning’ offer was $100,000 over asking price. I am still amazed at how they orchestrated my home sale so successfully and so painlessly!

Dean was our favorite realtor as we were his favorite clients. ☺️ We were ready to move to bigger house and we knew to call Dean to help us. He guided us with decluttering our house to get it ready to sell. We sold within 2 days to an offer that was more than we expected. Now it was time to find a new home. After a couple of months, we found an amazing house in our desired neighborhood. Dean was so patient during the whole process. He was responsive and knowledgeable of selling and buying a new house. Dean is THE BEST. We have two young kids and an elderly dog, and finding a house that worked for everyone in this crazy market seemed like it would be impossible. Dean took that really stressful process and made it fun. We found our perfect new home before we sold our current one, but thankfully Dean had the skills to ensure everything worked out perfectly. We joked that we were (sarcastically) Dean’s favorite clients because we had so many questions during the process, but he always took our calls and had the answers, which was so helpful in a stressful time. In addition to all that, Dean’s understanding of house components is next-level. Having him was like having our own personal home inspector - he could tell us exactly what we needed to spruce up or change at the old house, and exactly what was going on in the new house. We feel like we got a two-for-one. We can’t recommend Dean enough!
