Deanna Meredith is absolutely, positively, my professional best friend. I couldn't be happier with the work she's done for my husband and I: her skill, professionalism, flexibility, kindness, and the way she makes you feel at ease during a session (for the photo-phobic such as myself) is invaluable.

We started planning our wedding almost 2 years in advance; Deanna was our first photographer meeting, and as soon as we left we knew she was the one. She was upfront about the services she provided, as well as other things we could add on to our package if we so chose (i.e. wedding book varieties, engagement/boudoir sessions, etc.).

She is more than kind and respectful of your time, and wants nothing but to get the best pictures captured for you; we had initially had our engagement session planned for January of 2014, but there were thunderstorms coming through that morning. She called before the session to ask if we still wanted to meet because she knew we wanted our photos taken outside and was concerned that the lighting wouldn't be as perfect as it could be. When we rescheduled, she called us again to inform us of a bride who had her photographer bail out on her wedding only a week before (the bride's wedding was on the day of our rescheduled shoot). We were happy to give up our slot for her, both because it was the right thing to do, but also because the fact that a photographer offered to try and help someone out rather than stating "sorry, that's too short notice" was amazing.

The day of our engagement session, Deanna took time to help me with my hair and makeup (for I am also beautificationally challenged), while also giving me tips for my own personal care. She sent us contacts for possible hair and makeup artists for the wedding, and helped me with brainstorming guestbook ideas. She offered us guidance on vendors (who to avoid and what to look for) when we were in the beginning stages of planning, and even gave us a few ideas as to ceremony times to get the best photos.

Deanna will be our photographer for the rest of our lives: from our first child, to birthdays, to special ceremonies, or just because. My husband and I will always think of her as a friend. She is absolutely wonderful - you shouldn't have any qualms booking her after your first conversation.
