About Debora

Originally from a New England real estate family based in the Dartmouth College community, Debora (also known as Cutty) Smith now resides in Woodside.

For the past ten years, she has been one of the top realtors in the area with an in-depth knowledge of the local neighborhoods and their particular market dynamics. Cutty is known for her resolute commitment, focus on detail, and commanding negotiation skills. By understanding her clients’ needs and goals, she manages transactions in a positive, stress-free manner that fulfills her clients’ expectations. Cutty has been ranked in the top 5% of agents at her previous brokerage in 2013 – 2016, and 2% in her current brokerage, and has successfully represented buyers and sellers with both “on and off market” properties from San Francisco to Saratoga to Pebble Beach.

Cutty graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Marketing. She also studied International Marketing and Swedish at the University of Lund, Sweden.

As a trained Gemologist, specializing in estate jewelry appraisals, Cutty used to live in the Cayman Islands, where she developed her sales skills while managing several jewelry stores and creating a jewelry appraisal company.

Prior to entering real estate, she was also a Social Director with the Cunard/Seabourn cruise ship lines and traveled around the world in that position – most frequently on the Seabourn Sun and the QE2.

As an active part of the community, she is a member of the History Committee for Woodside. She also volunteers at the Village Church Rummage sale and for the Old La Honda Rd Committee.

When she can get away, skiing, sailing, and world traveling are her passions.
