I decided to get into real estate in 1977 after we bought our first home. I knew there had to be a better way. Buying or selling a home takes a professional that will listen to your needs and wants...not just serve theirs...I have personally listed, negotiated and sold more than 1000 homes in my career. My philosophy about real estate is quite simple. I put myself in your shoes, I treat your money like it's my money. I'm interested in building strong, lifelong lasting relationships one person at a time. My clients often say they feel like my ONLY CLIENT....The greatest honor is buying and selling homes with children and grandchildren of the clients I first assisted when I started in this practice in 1978..

I had the pleasure of being the lender on the other side of the transaction, with Debra as selling agent. Generally my relationship with the listing agent is cordial and collaborative, but not much more. I've probably left only a handful or reviews in a 2 decade career. But, as some transactions do, this one picked up a little hair on my buyer's side, from appraisal to close. Debra WENT TO BAT to keep the transaction together, all while protecting her sellers and never losing sight of the people she was representing. She followed up at every junction, respectfully but very directly held all the third parties to task, was prepared for all of the appraiser's questions, navigated estate and town bureaucracy, and remained professional even when she would have an excuse not to be. NONE of the challenges were her fault, and yet she met them as her own to keep everything on track. This is the kind of agent I would trust to list my own home - and, after 20 years of mortgage work, I've known an awful lot of agents I wouldn't say that about. Not everyone gets to see behind the scenes - but I do, and this was a top notch transaction. Thank you, Debra.
