It was a bit of a challenging market but in both selling and buying we were really happy with how things turned out. They really are a team and together bring a unique set of strengths that were a real benefit to us. Plus we enjoyed spending time with them and consider them friends now. Bonus! I have purchased two homes with Denny and Leyla. I have also sold two homes with them. For buying, Denny helped me find a home and was patient when I was outbid. He also taught me about a tool called the “escalation clause.” The last property I purchased sight unseen (I’m still not sure I recommend this). I asked Denny questions as he used FaceTime to walk me around the property. In this case, I already knew the location well. Both times I sold with Denny and Leyla, my properties have sold above asking price. Their photographers are excellent. Of course, good photos require the homeowner to put a little effort into the place too. If I move into the region again, I’ll be giving Denny and Leyla a call…again.

Leyla is a wizard at staging, and Denny handles all the paperwork. On our sale, we took all of Leyla’s suggestions - and we ended up getting more than our asking price.

I've used the Denny and Leyla Team since 2011, spanning three purchases and two sales, so I've come to know both of them very well. And I can honestly say I won't ever go anywhere else when I need real estate services. Denny and Leyla have always been professional, personable, knowledgeable, quick to respond, and a calming force when I needed it during the especially stressful moments. All real estate transactions are challenging, but I've had some uniquely rocky moments - from ending up homeless due to closing date changes, to navigating a home sale contingency that came down to the wire, to dealing with a challenging developer on a new construction home. Denny and Leyla were always there to step in, solve the issue, and make my life a bit easier. We decided to purchase our first home in the midst of an absolutely crazy market, and we could not have managed it without the guidance and support of this amazing team. We worked with Denny, Leyla, and Buddee on several months of focused/exhausting hunting, strategizing, negotiating, bidding, and ultimately buying our incredible place. Their energy, expertise, honesty, and genuine care have been the guideposts of our journey from renters to owners.

They began by helping us better understand the homebuying process and asked about our needs and priorities, which evolved as we grew into the homebuying process. They presented quality homes to us that we had missed while using the standard Zillow/Redfin approach, and pointed out important details on homes as we toured. We then worked together to analyze each bidding strategy and review what happened on the ones we lost (which was inevitable when facing all-cash offers, zero contingencies, waived inspections, and offers far above asking price). They moved with ease through our numerous decisions to change targeted areas as markets shifted in rapid succession and kept up our spirits as we lost several bids, each with a highly competitive offer well-informed by the Denny and Leyla Team's expertise. They were responsive and moved fast when we wanted to see a place, always finding time to fit us into a schedule or craft complex days of walk-throughs.

Once we won a bid, they were right there with us to deal with the onslaught of process and paperwork to come --- working seamlessly with the sellers, our mortgage broker, and the title company. Afterwards they have kept in touch and made sure that we are happy and settled in our new home providing connections and advice as we navigate little updates around the house.

We are grateful not only for their realty knowledge and prowess, but also for the genuine friendships that were formed along the way. And that is not to mention how wonderful they were with our two kids who were often in tow and didn't make viewings easy! Despite all the stress and frustration that high demand, low supply, and rising mortgage rates created, we enjoyed all of our interactions and correspondence with the Denny & Leyla Team and will continue to turn to them for any and all real estate decisions in our future.

We had a great experience buying our first home with The Denny & Leyla Team! I've heard about people who have had to bid on 10 or more properties because the housing market has been so competitive. Not us! Thanks to Denny & Leyla's expertise and deep relationships, our first offer on a property was accepted and it was just a little over 40 days from our first interaction to closing.

Denny, Leyla, and Leslie expertly navigated the complexities and uncertainties of the housing market (e.g. anticipating how rates and supply would change) combined with our unique needs to help us find exactly what we wanted, all while we lived out of region and required extra support. They explained the various steps in the process in the simplest terms, shared their lessons learned from decades of experience, and advocated on our behalf during tours and with building management. They were instantly responsive to our questions and concerns, patiently answering everything to make sure we felt confident in each decision - and so did everyone they recommended for financing, inspection, and settlement.

Clearly, these folk are stellar at their jobs and well-respected in their field. I highly recommend them and plan to work with them on our next home purchase (or sale).
