Both Derik & Ricki were born and raised in Queens, NY and now reside in Oceanside, NY with their two children, Raymond (13) & Katelyn (9). Before beginning his real estate career in 2006 Derik was a franchise owner/operator of a Haagen Dazs ice cream shop in Rockville Centre, NY for over 10 years.
Although he enjoyed the ice cream business something was missing. His passion for real estate was it! Real Estate is a powerful thing. Where you live becomes the center of your universe ~ your “home base” and a place where memories are made. Derik understands that the sale or purchase of a home is likely the largest investment of a person’s life. Working with an agent who you can trust is vital. Being a family man & respected member of the Oceanside community his honest reputation precedes him. Also, being a handyman himself, Derik's vast knowledge of construction is an asset to his clients.

Since the birth of her first child Ricki enjoyed life as a stay~at~home mom. Then in 2019 two things happened at once; Derik was in need of an assistant for his growing business and Ricki was ready to get back to work as her “babies” were becoming more and more independent. Instead of simply assisting Derik, Ricki decided to pursue her real estate license and work alongside Derik as a married licensed team ~ The Cenci Team!
