I have lived in El Dorado County since 1976, developing and selling real estate in the area for over 30 years. I raised three children in the area, all have gone through the local county schools, and all are college grads. I can speak very highly of our local school system. I now have three grandchildren, two are attending our local Gold Oak School in Pleasant Valley. I am a lifelong horse person. I own a 13 acre ranch in Somerset. I appreciate the county offers 4H and FFA programs that children cannot get in city schools.
