This review is a bit overdue, but I felt like I needed to write it because Diane, Christy, and the Lewis Team really earned it.

Diane was our realtor when we bought our home in July 2025. My wife and I are not the easiest buyers because we wanted pretty much opposite things. I wanted land, she wanted a big, move-in-ready house that didn’t need updating. Diane was incredibly patient with both of us, took the time to listen, and never made either of us feel like our priorities didn’t matter.

We’d been on Zillow for a couple years before reaching out, so we thought we had a pretty good sense of the market. Early on we were the ones sending Diane listings, and she’d gladly show us each one even though our timeline was about a year out because we were living in Charlottesville, VA at the time. Not once did she rush us or make us feel like we were wasting her time.

What really sets Diane apart is her honesty. She’ll tell you exactly what’s good and bad about a home, especially when it comes to resale value. There were a few times my wife and I toured a place we both liked at a price we thought was fair, and a lot of realtors probably would have just let us pull the trigger. But Diane told us to hold off. She said she’d find us something we loved even more for the same price or better. And she was right.

When the right house came along, Diane sent it to us before it even hit the market. She told us to make time to see it and made sure we were the first ones through the door. We walked in and fell in love with it immediately. Even then, she helped keep us grounded and under budget.

If you’re looking for a team that will be patient, honest, and genuinely invested in finding you the right home instead of just closing a deal, Diane and her team are who you want.

Diane and her team were great to work with, both in our search for a new home and in the sale of our existing home. Through many starts and stops, and changes of mind as we looked and looked, she remained extremely patient, upbeat, and positive. She was also very honest in letting us know if she didn’t think a house was right for us even though she could have had a sale sooner and be done with us! For the sale of our existing home, she worked hard and proactively with her team to market it and get it sold quickly. They did a great job advising us on how it would show best and taking exceptional photos for marketing materials. Diane and her team are extremely easy to communicate with—always responsive, pleasant, and on point. We couldn’t have had a better home buying/selling experience.

Diane Lewis & Christy helped us buy a new home, then sell our existing home, both in Arlington. Her broker network was extensive & her knowledge of properties & neighborhoods was invaluable. Diane to her credit suggested we not make offers on a few homes we visited & liked when the market was "hot", even though it would have been easier for her to just have us buy one of those. she said "we can do better" & we did. We just love the new home we eventually purchased.

Diane & Christy helped us from beginning to end when selling our old home in a (sadly for us) cooler market, including much needed decluttering & minor improvement advice, awesome interior & exterior photography, a well written home feature description, & assistance with staging & open houses.

The Lewis Team was there for us from each buy/sell initial showing thru being physically with us at both Title Company closings.

We could not imagine a better broker experience.

Diane is the most knowledgeable, most patient, and most tenacious person I've ever met in real estate. My wife and I started our house search in the middle of the pandemic when the market was heating up in an area that is already competitive. Diane helped us navigate the ins and outs of the process, responded to all of our emails/texts, and provided excellent advice along the way. It took us nine months to find a house. Diane was with us every step -- constantly checking in and recommending houses. She has a great eye and knowledge of the market. She knew exactly how to make our offer competitive enough to stand out in a field of many offers and in the end, her expertise was exactly right.
