Dolores Peterson

Dolores is a native born North Fork resident. She and her husband raised their family of 3 daughters on the North Fork., One of which is a Real Estate Attorney. One a Real Estate Agent in Florida, and One a School Teacher. The Peterson family is rooted here with her husband working with the farmers at the Cooperative Extension in Riverhead and Dolores having an early career as a race horse trainer.

The real estate business is a natural for Dolores. Licensed since 2002, Dolores has seen the North Fork evolve from traditional agriculture farms to the expansion of wineries and specialized farming including equine farms.

Prior to her career in real estate, Dolores owned and operated the largest race horse “turn out “farm on the East Coast., and is an Equine Vet Tech. After many years of successfully operating her farm, she sold it and oversaw Robert Entenmann’s racehorse business at the Big E Farm as she worked as his Personal Assistant and Executive Secretary. As the Entenmanns expanded into the wine business Dolores continued to work with his winery, Martha Clara.

As a Licensed Broker Associate with Douglas Elliman, Dolores can bring all of her ability working with people and knowledge of the North Fork to help you find the perfect property. Be it a large farm, country cottage or luxury home Dolores will take the reins and bring you to a successful sale.

Dolores is State Certified as a Buyers Agent, a Short Sale and Foreclosure Specialist and Pricing Strategy Advisor; and NYS Notary. She is also on the Board of Directors with the Hamptons and North Fork Realtor Association.
