Don joined EXP Realty in 2018 after 5 years with John L Scott Real Estate. He was the top producing agent in his previous office at Exit Realty Group for 3 years running, and was in the top 2% of agents in the Rogue Valley for many years.
Don has been piloting key marketing and networking opportunities in Southern Oregon for nearly 25 years. Some of his projects include producing the New Products Show and the Senior Show for 6 years, and putting on the Oregon Green Expo since 2009.
Don was the founder of SOTA, the Southern Oregon Trade Association, a flourishing trade association which hosted over 3,000 members and thrived in our local community for over 10 years, becoming one of the top 20 largest trade associations in the U.S.
He originated and ran the Jacksonville Gold Mine Tour, which featured the Oregon Belle Mine. Also, Don was a radio talk show host (“The Real McCoy”) for 5 years on KCMX Super News Talk Radio.
Don has gone on to receive additional real estate training in building science, energy, and environmental issues directly related to various real estate transactions, in both the residential and the commercial areas of the marketplace.
He completed numerous educational opportunities through USGBC LEED for Homes, Energy Star presentations for Contractors & Architects, and a State of Oregon Building Code class including the High Performance Homes presentation.
In recent years, Don has developed a television documentary series on “The Green Economy and Green Building in Southern Oregon,” and it is with excitement and enthusiasm that he helps promote, consult and educate the language of Green through his TV shows, power point, speaking, writing, panel discussions and trade shows.
