About Dona

Dona Willett has lived and worked in Longview for over 30 years. She is a a native East Texan.

Dona received her BBA in Marketing from The University of Texas in Austin and began her career as a Marketing Representative and Underwriter for Chubb Insurance Company. She also held a Personal Insurance License and managed a Personal Lines Division in Houston before returning to East Texas with her husband. Dona is well acquainted with the mineral rights component that often accompanies properties in this area having spent five years assisting royalty owners in the transfer of their mineral interests.

Dona is married to Jimmy Willett, and they have three children. The Willetts joke about their “house divided” with Kaitlyn and her husband Bryan graduating from Texas Tech, Kerris graduating from UT at Austin and Matthew and his wife Kourtney graduating from Texas A & M. They are members of Mobberly Baptist Church. Dona loves to sing in choir and is very active in church and the community. She also enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren, Hattie, Millie, and Hunt.
