Donald Dwyer

Don is the Manager of the Thornwood, NY office of Howard Hanna Rand Realty. Don came to Rand with a strong background in management and over 18 years of sales experience. He has managed a real estate office for 13 years now and was a Licensed Associate Broker and Real Estate Salesperson as well. He was drawn to the Rand philosophy of being "client centric" and he believes wholeheartedly in this. Don prides himself with having his client's needs foremost before everything else. He frequently works out "win -win" scenarios so the process of buying or selling a home is as smooth as possible. As a manager, Don loves being able to help develop agents. He has an intensely positive manner and always finds a way to get the best out of agents to allow them to maximize their potential. Under his leadership in the past many agents experienced exponential growth in their business. Don looks forward to continuing this stream of success with new agents coming aboard - whether experienced or new to the business. Always active in the community, Don feels that giving back is so important and is a gauge of a company's commitment. As the former President of the Frank G. Lindsey PTA, he has been directly involved with the school systems in the area. In addition he has been a significant fundraiser for the following organizations: LIVE! event (Hendrick Hudson Schools - platinum donor 3 years running), FGL PTA (multiple donations), American Cancer Society Relay for Life, American Heart Association, National Parks Association, Grace Smith House (school supplies, holiday presents), Toys for Tots, local food pantries, and a number of other organizations.
