About Donna

Donna Brooks is a Realtor in and resident of the Naperville and Plainfield areas for over 18 years. She has seen the community grow and change and has weathered the many ebbs and flows of the real estate market.

Brooks is a full time broker associate and relocation specialist with Baird & Warner Real Estate in Naperville. She strives to make real estate transitions as smooth as possible for her clients, from first-time buyers or sellers, to seasoned professionals who has moved many times.

She uses her vast experience and resources to provide her clients with very competent references for all of the people involved in the home-buying and selling processes, and gives them many personal recommendations for anything else they might need.

Brooks graduated from Carmel Catholic High School for Girls in Mundelein, Illinois, in 1985, and went on to graduate with her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1989 with a major in journalism and a minor in English. Prior to her life as a Realtor, she was a reporter with a local newspaper, then the public relations director for a school district. She became a full time Realtor in 1998.

Donna grew up with the wonderful influence of her mother, who is also a realtor with Baird & Warner. Her mother is an awesome role model who leads by her example of honesty, integrity, and love for what she does. Brooks has a passion for what she does, and she is fiercely protective of her clients.

As first time home buyers in a terribly difficult market, Donna was there for me and my husband every step of the way. Our process was long and filled with disappointments due to all the bidding wars post COVID, and Donna always made sure we stayed hopeful. She never tried to sell us on something that we didn’t need, and she listened each time we saw a new house to understand what would be a good fit for us. Donna was always available to answer questions, navigate all parts of the home buying process, and provide unbiased guidance when needed. She has decades of expertise in both realty and the area. We finally found our perfect home and are so grateful she was with us every step of the way! Thank you Donna!
