As a fourth generation Steamboat Springs native, Donna Mae’s roots run strong and deep. Growing up on a cattle ranch and farm in the lower Elk River Valley, and the youngest of five children, hard work and determination was a way of life.
After leaving the valley during her college years, it was apparent that the Yampa Valley curse was working its magic. Today, together with her husband Steve and their daughters Mallory and Mariah, they enjoy and thrive on everything Steamboat Springs, and the surrounding valley, has to offer. As avid outdoor enthusiasts, they enjoy skiing, biking, boating, hiking and camping.
Donna Mae has been selling real estate in the Yampa Valley for many years. Her extended knowledge of the valley and the real estate process gives her a unique perspective unlike many others. Attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to listen and communicate with her clients are qualities that ensure a smooth real estate experience. Her goal is to exceed her client’s expectations throughout the entire real estate process by delivering exceptional customer service.
In 2009, the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors® elected her as a Board Member and in 2013, she served as the Chair. She was subsequently honored by her colleagues with the prestigious Realtor® of the Year award. Her certifications include Graduate of Realtor Institute, E-Pro and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource programs.
In addition to her real estate profession, Donna Mae is an active volunteer on the Colorado Group Charitable Foundation, the Community Agriculture Alliance Board of Directors, a volunteer for the Steamboat Ski & Resort Courtesy, Member & Past President of the Old Town Hot Springs Board of Directors, and a local 4-H Leader/Volunteer. Donna Mae strongly believes that volunteerism helps to create a strong sense of community and is a role model for the youth of today.
