About Donna

In just over 13 months, Donna Simmons has sold over $60 million dollars in real estate*. She is a luxury real estate specialist in the Rhode Island and Connecticut markets and has been selling real estate since 2006 when she joined the Developer of the Ocean House Hotel to build regional market awareness for the Hotel and to sell the luxury condominiums within the Hotel.

To her Sellers, Donna is a proactive sales agent. She says, “When you have a listing, you can’t just wait by the phone, you need to broaden your approach with social media, direct mail, email, brochures, open houses, texts and phone calls to prospects and other agents to let the marketplace know about the property.” With over 25 years in marketing, Donna knows how to position properties to their best advantage in a competitive marketplace as well as to identify the target market of buyers and develop marketing plans to reach those buyers.

For Buyers, Simmons says, “My approach is to help them make a well thought decision that is good for their lifestyle and circumstances. It is most important to me to have clients who come back months or years later and say it was the best decision they made rather than to have felt rushed into a decision they may have regretted later.” With buyers, I use my experience in residential and commercial renovations such as at the Ocean House to help give clients a sense of how they might be able to enhance a property and so that it fits their needs better while unlocking equity.

Donna began a career that spanned over 25 years and focused on marketing major name brands for Fortune 500 companies. Her last major corporate role was President, Victoria’s Secret Beauty, a leadership role that combined her branding, marketing, public relations and operations, all talents which she uses today. “Real Estate is my passion, whether representing buyers or sellers! To be able to utilize my marketing skills in producing measurable sales and results is simultaneously exciting and rewarding!
