Dorene Swanson

A life-long resident of McHenry County, Dorene lives in the McHenry area with her husband and daughter and has two adult sons that live in the area as well. With a strong faith as her guiding compass, Dorene loves to serve others by helping them achieve their hopes and dreams and live their best lives!

Dorene has a bachelor’s degree in sociology/criminology, a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and licensed Illinois real estate managing broker.

Dorene brings years of well-rounded experience in the real estate industry to the team. Dorene started her post-college career in the social services field and transitioned to real estate in 1992. Since that time, she has been an active real estate agent, worked as administrative support and manager for multiple real estate companies, managed a title company, and served as a real estate paralegal. Dorene has also worked in social services, working with children and adults with a variety of abilities in the community, the school system, and in behavioral health in the hospital setting.
