Doug Klaasen

Doug is a life-long resident and raving fan of West Michigan and the lifestyle that it offers. Being the son of an area Building Contractor Doug spent time as a child watching his dad work on new homes, and later he spent his summers working alongside him during his high school and college years. That experience helped Doug develop an understanding of home construction and nurture a passion for the Real Estate business. Now many years later, being the managing Broker of Keller Williams Realty Lakeshore and having over 25 years of experience helping his clients buy and sell properties throughout West Michigan and even around the State, Doug is uniquely positioned to help clients make the next move, the best move. He embraces a “givers gain” philosophy, is active in his local church, the Holland community, and broader Real Estate industry. Doug is a graduate of the West Coast Chamber’s Leadership Holland program, is active in the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of Realtors having served on various committees and on the Board of Directors, including being Treasurer in 2015 and President in 2016. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Award in 2017, Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021, and named Realtor or the Year in 2022. Doug is married with four children, and share their house with a narcissistic King Charles Spaniel named Ryder.
