I would like to take the opportunity to thank Doug Wathen for helping me selling my home. I was in a rehab facility because of a broken hip and stuck there because of the covid-19 mess, he took charge in staging the place , getting the windows cleaned, getting over 50 realtors showing the property, and getting 8 offers with in a weeks time. Doug was extremely helpful in the purchase of my property. He advised me and negotiated the deal throughout the process with little effort on my end. He dealt with all the headaches from finding the property to closing the deal with the mortgage company and kept me up to date regularly. I knew exactly what was going on, yet, did very little work. I highly recommend Doug since he not only held my hand through the purchase, but also saved me a lot of money by negotiating some of the closing costs, repairs needed, etc. He did this because he felt it in my best interest and I recieved a very nice amount of money back when I had no idea it was even possible.

From walkthrough to sale in 25 days. Couldn't be smoother. Doug uses quick electronic methods like DocuSign when signing paperwork and responds to emails within 10-15 minutes usually. He was always there for me when I needed an answer or update. We had some repairs that needed to be done, and he arranged to have the sellers document everything with photos and updated me along the way. During times of negotiation for repairs, he fought for even a few extra hundred credited to us. During the offer process, he got the price we wanted and had the Seller throw in a few extras. Highly recommend!

Doug provides unbelievable service. After finding out what your wants and needs are, he makes suggestions and gives advice to help you make decisions. We viewed locations from Tustin to San Clemente and he was always on time with a planned out schedule for the day. He is very professional, detailed, knowledgable and does not sugar coat things. He tells it like it is and helps guide you at your own pace. He is patient and easy going, something I found to be very refreshing. He knows how to negotiate and does things right. His contacts are just as spectacular as he is and he has made this whole process very easy. Doug knows south Laguna Niguel very well. We spoke with him more than a year before we were ready to try and sell our townhome and move up to a single family residence. He monitored the neighborhoods we like for months before hand. He pulled out all the stops to move our townhome and got what was the highest price we feel we could have gotten considering the market. On the buying side of things he again has gotten creative and helped us get exactly what we were asking for.

Doug is the best!!!! Without his hardwork, expertise, knowledge and negotiation skills, it would have been impossible for us to buy a house we really liked, in Aliso Viejo in this crazy market.
