I began my real estate career way back in 1991 in Vienna after relocating to Northern Virginia from Boston, Massachusetts. I've been through the ups and downs of the market, competitive markets, slow markets (hard to imagine that, right?) and managed to maintain a sense of humor while actually helping clients navigate through the complexities of offers, contracts, home inspections, mortgages, appraisals, and unexpected hick-ups.
I'm the agent others come to for help when they have questions. Yes, my hands on, real life knowledge and perspective isn't found in a Google search.
Doug was raised in Providence, Rhode Island and graduated from Boston University with a degree in American History. He calls Vienna home, living with his wife Patty in a home that they remodeled fifteen years ago. You may see him walking his Cairn Terrier along the W&OD Trail or heading into Caffe Amouri for a latte. He is always willing to talk real estate.
"Doug was interviewed for, and included in, Money Magazine's Best Places to Live article in 2013 that ranked Vienna #3. His deep understanding of the community, location, new home construction and everyday lifestyle helped him easily share his expert knowledge. A framed copy of the article can be seen in the lobby in the Vienna Town Hall.
He is actively involved in the Vienna Arts Society Advisory Board endorsing the Bench Project fund raiser, and the North East Vienna Citizens Association serving as Vice President.
With years of experience and closed sales, he brings a unique perspective with strategic advice and candor to help his clients navigate complex negotiations. He is a Vice President at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty."
