About Douglas

Raised in South Toledo, I attended St. Patrick’s of Heatherdowns for my growing years and graduated from Maumee High School in 1986. I am the oldest of three including my sister Kim and brother Matt. I am also the proud uncle of three nieces: Amanda, Alexis and Paige. I started working for my parents in my teens and into my college years managing the 15 properties they owned. Hence, this is where I got the itch for real estate!

As a 1990 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BSBA with a specialization in Accounting, I immediately entered into the workforce and was employed with ThyssenKrupp for 13 years learning the ropes of big corporate as a part of the management team. Yearning for bigger and better things, I decided to get licensed in real estate in 2004. It was certainly a challenge at first, especially working through a down market, but it made me a better agent!
Licensed in 2004 and approaching 10 years in business, I have sold over 400 homes with almost $45 million in sales. I am one of the top 10% of Realtors® in the Toledo Board of Realtors® and have received Awards of Distinction from the Toledo Board of Realtors® and the Ohio Association of Realtors. I am a top 100 agent in The Toledo Board of Realtors. I am licensed in Ohio and Michigan servicing 30 miles around the Toledo area.

In my free time, I do charity work at the East Toledo Family Center, Danberry Treasure Chest and the Victory Center. I also enjoy playing guitar and singing in my band, My8
