About Douglass

Douglass Talbot began his real estate career as a civil engineer working for real estate developers involved in various projects in Louisiana and Texas. Since that time Mr. Talbot has held positions for two national real estate developers and founded a successful real estate development company. Mr. Talbot was Vice President of the Land Division for Bluegreen Corporation for over eleven years and was responsible for developing over 20 residential communities along the East Coast from Pennsylvania to Florida. The retail sales value of these projects was more than two hundred million. During this time Mr. Talbot engaged in the acquisition, development and sales of all Bluegreen projects and was directly involved in all aspects of managing the company.

Mr. Talbot was a founding partner and President of Southern Lifestyles, which began in Wilmington, NC in 1997 and continues today as a developer of waterfront communities on the East Coast. Southern Lifestyles has developed over 100 million in waterfront communities in North and South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. As President of the company Mr. Talbot managed the day-to-day operations of SL and was responsible for the operation of the company.
