Duane Palmieri

Duane is a real estate professional, serving the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He began his career as an investor where he developed an interest for the real estate field. During college he worked with construction tradesman, gaining a working knowledge of construction methods and practices. This was further supported by his firsthand experience with his own investment properties. He became familiar with the inner workings of the older Pittsburgh homes.

After graduating college, Duane took a position with a local lender. He developed a territory north of the city, collaborating with realtors and consumers in residential purchases and with small commercial loans. Experience as a lender provided insight into the world of real estate sales and additional opportunities available as an investor.

During the last two years, Duane has been aiding a non-profit organization furthering housing opportunities for people with disabilities. He has gained a keen awareness of details that provide smart home choices for people with disabilities. Identifying a home that is adaptable for accessibility or future accessibility is becoming more important as our population ages.
