About Duane

Duane has worked with Pickwick Resort Property Owners throughout my life, he has a comprehensive knowledge of Pickwick’s real estate buyer or seller services. Duane have been a business owner of one of the oldest businesses on Pickwick Lake.

Beginning in 1975 he entered the family business of repairing and selling boats. This provided him the opportunity to start getting to know all the waterfront property owners around Pickwick Lake. In 1988 he purchased the family business and turned the company into the largest marine construction company on Pickwick Lake. This gave him even more knowledge of all the properties around Pickwick Lake. Most of the docks, boathouses, and marinas that are located on Pickwick Lake have been built over the last 30 years by Duane Wright’s Marine Construction Company. In 2008 Duane made the decision to step out just a little further and get my affiliate broker license to be able help my existing clients buy and sell property at Pickwick, in 2013 he sold the Marine Construction company and started pursuing my long-time love of selling real-estate on a full-time basis. Duane went back to school and upgraded my affiliate broker license to a full broker license and in the summer of 2014, he opened Duane Wright Realty Company. He feels that with my knowledge of all the properties on and near Pickwick Lake, that he may know more of the history of most of all the properties around Pickwick Lake than any other person, realtor, or business.
