Through all the years and many life transitions, Dustin’s love for real estate was deep within him. He found himself viewing houses for sale online and researching everything he could about real estate investing. The more he learned the more his excitement grew, and his journey officially began when his wife and he purchased their first rehab house back in 2016. It took six months to buy, rehab, and sell their first investment property. He was hooked! Two months later, he officially started a company called Kairos Homes with a good friend, Kurt Rutledge, specializing in residential rehabs. They now have learned to flip properties, buy, and hold properties and manage rental properties. As his passion for real estate increased, he decided to pursue his real estate license. He knew instantly that this is what he was meant to do. As a licensed agent, he is excited to partner with the entire RE/MAX Precision team to exceed the expectations of those they serve, creating a memorable 5-star experience. Some of his favorite moments are being able to relay that an offer is accepted or seeing the smiles when a client is holding the keys to their home for the first time. He resides in Grimes, Iowa, with his beautiful wife of 16 years, Allison, and their three wonderful children, Trey, Trevor, and Tessa. He is excited to be an example for his children and instill the same work ethic, drive, and desire to be entrepreneurs that his parents instilled in him. He is looking forward to carrying on that legacy. His family is his inspiration!
