About Dwayne

I’ve called Austin home since 1992 and attended St. Edward’s University. I built my career in the high-tech industry before transitioning into real estate about 15 years ago, combining entrepreneurial drive with long-standing community connections.

Family is everything. Whether we’re taking trips together or celebrating on the shores of Lake Travis, we often do so with Brazilian BBQ in tow—making cherished memories through food and adventure.

As a dedicated sports fan, I closely follow soccer, college football, and college basketball—always immersed in the highs and lows of the season.

For cultural escape, I turn to ZACH Theatre—also known as the Zachary Scott Theatre Center—Austin’s oldest continually active theatrical institution, founded in 1932

. My favorite annual treat is their musical rendition of A Christmas Carol, a beloved holiday tradition running every year since about 2014. Each season brings fresh music, vibrant choreography, and returning favorites that keep the experience magical.

If you're a foodie or coffee lover, I'd be happy to share my local intel. A standout is Mozart’s Coffee Roasters on Lake Austin Blvd—a charming lakeside spot known for pastries, seasonal drinks, live music, and even paddleboard rentals. While opinions on their coffee vary, the lakeside views and ambiance remain a favorite among locals—and its holiday lights and community events bring festive sparkle every winter .
