Elaine Bykerk Glidden

Elaine has specialized in residential real estate on the Chicago North Shore since 1990. A true professional, she has consistently been a multi-million dollar producer. In 2004, Berkshire Hathaway recognized her abilities naming her Assistant Broker Manager of both offices in Glenview. Two years later, she was appointed Branch Executive of The Glen Office in Glenview. In May 2009, She was made Agent Development Manager for eight Berkshire Hathaway offices on the Chicago North Shore. In 2012, Elaine went back to what she loves best, working with clients.

Her entire career is replete with advance education courses increasing her expertise in support of her clients’ real estate needs. Prominent among her accomplishments are the CRS (Council of Residential Specialists), GRI (Graduated Power Agent-Darryl Davis Seminars), SFR (Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource Certification) and Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker license on her list of designations.

Over the years, Elaine has served as Director of the Charlemagne Homeowners Association and currently is serving as its President; she has been a Trustee on her church board; is a member of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce; a past Director on the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors; is a past member of the Women’s Council of Realtors; and has served most recently volunteering for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago’s Foundation in the company’s Week of Kindness.

Elaine and her husband are empty nesters living in Northbrook and have three sons and two daughters residing with their families nearby. While Elaine loves real estate, she also enjoys golfing, walking, counted cross stitching, knitting, cooking, and sitting her grand children.
