Eliza Bailey

I began my real estate career in the late 1990s, then paused to teach for 17 years while raising our children. Now an empty nester, I’ve returned to real estate with renewed focus—educating clients, advocating for their best interests, and negotiating with integrity to help them reach their goals.

A generational South Carolinian, I grew up in Summerville, spent high school years in Mount Pleasant, earned my degree from the College of Charleston, and completed a Master’s in Information and Library Science at the University of South Carolina. My family and I have lived on Charleston’s Peninsula and in McClellanville before settling back in Summerville in 2000.

I know the Lowcountry—coastal and inland—intimately and partner with preservation and conservation groups to preserve and share our region’s stories. From practical local tips (yes, about pluff mud and boiled peanuts) to market insight shaped by decades of change, I guide clients confidently to the neighborhood that fits their lifestyle.
