About Elizabeth
After 30 years of selling real estate, Beth is fortunate to say that she still loves her job! She gets to meet new people of all ages every week, she has new experiences every day, she gets to hear the greatest stories of the life experiences of others. Best of all, she gets to help people make important decisions about their futures- she does not take this role lightly.
Beth's specialty is working with the retired population. Her exposure to the retired population began when she was 10 years old. Her parents built a retirement community on Lake Andrusia in northern MN for snowbirds that wanted to spend their summers “up north” at the lake. During the journey in building her real estate career, she specialized in selling custom built homes, which eventually brought her to where she is today, representing a developer/builder that has dedicated his career to building alternate lifestyle communities for seniors- the perfect mix for her with her love for new construction and the retired population. They have now worked together for over 23 years!
Her experience has been that the term “senior living” has evolved into “low maintenance living”. She has found it is not just the retired population looking for an easier lifestyle, but empty nesters are also making the move sooner, even though retirement may not be on the horizon. The large home and yard were the focus for many years, but she is seeing a condensed and relaxed lifestyle becoming the trend. She can relate to this trend, as she did this 10 years ago, and couldn’t be happier.
Making a move of any kind, at any age is difficult and the thought of downsizing is overwhelming. Beth has helped hundreds of people accomplish this goal and, in some cases, it takes many months to go through all the steps to get there. There have been times that she recommends not selling for various reasons. She is not a salesperson; she is a consultant.
