My real estate career started at the young age of 7. My dad paid my sister and I five cents for each marketing flyer we delivered door to door. Fast forward about 10 years and I was working in the office with him, processing paperwork for his real estate transactions. I really enjoyed that part of the business. I also loved interior design and started my college education in that subject. I had a few pivots in those college days but ended up graduating from Cal Poly Humboldt with a degree in Art History.
Art and interior design always held my interest, but I knew the path I’d take professionally would follow in my father’s footsteps. I recognized how hard he worked to make a difference in people’s lives, and I wanted to be a part of that. In 2003, I received my real estate license and our business partnership began. My passion for art and design has benefited my career in that it enables me to assist our sellers with staging ideas and I can provide vision and design ideas for buyers who are looking for a new place to call home.
My two boys, Dax and Chase, have grown up in the world of real estate. They’ve both taken on the same roles as I did when I was young, hand delivering postcards or labeling envelopes. Real estate allows me the flexibility to be with them, whether it is helping in the classroom, chaperoning field trips or watching them in their activities. The time I balance is full and busy!
Outside of real estate, I stay active with workouts, occasional wine tasting and exploring new home design ideas. My most important role is raising my two boys with my husband in Livermore. Together we enjoy camping, vacationing with family, watching the Warriors play, and loving on our dog, Red.
