Steve is 81 years old and the Computer is a bewildering experience for him. Eric Hatch was wonderful going over all documents and explaining what they were all about, and he did this patiently and kindly not once but sometimes many times.Eric is a hands-on agent who replied to Steves phone calls within an hour and sometimes within minutes. He found Steve a lovely house, in his price range, he is truly a five star agent. One of Centruy 21’s finest.

It's his combination of experience, knowledge, and wonderful personal appeal that translates into a person that truly cares for what I, as a buyer, needed to have on my team.

My wife and I started the process of looking for a new home in late 2023. We started out thinking that we wanted to move to the North Bay Area of Sonoma County. We didn't realize that the homes we liked were out of our price range. We had friends in Auburn/Grass Valley/Nevada City, so we decided to look in those areas. I did a search for the realtor who was qualified, mature, and a long history with the area. Eric's name stood out as one of the area specialists that we could count on.

Since it was the winter months, inventory was down. We spent a lot of time looking online for just the right home. When we found a few that we liked, we called Eric up and he arranged for us to visit every one of them. It was through these visits that we got to know Eric more and learn about what type of home we definitely wanted and needed.

Throughout the process of looking, Eric was always there, always answering his phone whenever I called. He gave us great advice about all the areas that we looked at. He knows the area intimately, so you can be sure that you are getting someone who can tell you the pro's and con's of every community.

Mostly, though, what I believe makes Eric successful is that he truly listens to his clients. He didn't try to fit us into a home. We had to find the home that fit with us. He provided us with the room to make our own decisions about what would work for us, and guidance as to how a home would probably meet our needs. Customer service is #1 with Eric!

Ultimately, we didn't purchase a home with Eric because a dream home that we could afford popped up in Sonoma County. I know that if that home didn't show up when it did, we would have eventually found a wonderful home in Auburn. In fact, after we went into contract with our new home, a few inviting homes were listed in Auburn that we could easily have called home and which I know that Eric would have gotten one for us.

Thank you Eric for being a great host and sharing your wisdom with us. We highly recommend Eric Hatch as the best person to help you buy/sell a home, no question about it!

Contacted Eric to sell my home. He responded very quickly and came out to go over things I could adjust relatively easily to increase the listing price and pointed out what people will notice. Eric helped us purchase our home in Auburn and we couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience. He is extremely knowledgeable of the market, which was a high priority requirement for us, coming from out of town. We, like most buyers, were looking for a specific type of property and we worked with Eric to come up with a list of possibilities. He arranged for us to view all of the properties, there were several, and made himself available to show them to us, right away. When we arrived to meet Eric, he handed us a folder with a comprehensive and extremely thorough (and extremely helpful) packet that had details about each of the homes, the area and also included directions to each of the properties. As out of towners, we found this to be extremely helpful and above and beyond what we have typically experienced. We didn’t like any of the properties, but Eric was fine with that and ready to move forward. Based on my work experience in the customer service industry, I do not write reviews unless I come across someone really exceptional, who I can genuinely endorse. I am happy to share the secret of just such a person with the world. Eric Hatch, a marvelous realtor, and a great advocate for his clients real estate needs.
The process of buying a home can be very frustrating, long, and stressful! Eric Hatch, by far, is the person you want by your side during this time. My husband and I, made an offer on our dream home, and it was accepted. Unfortunately due to probate court, legal mistakes from the seller side, unfortunate events, and the delays from the seller, we finally closed our home this week after about 3 months. Throughout this process Eric has been calm and comforting, about each situation and confident about making our dream possible (even when we lost faith). But that's the kind of real estate professional you need by your side, who steps up and solves problems, when things go sideways. Eric took care of all the paperwork, inspections, and made the buying process much easier on us.
Eric is very knowledgeable about real estate procedures, local laws, territory knowledge, home renovations, and possesses reliable contacts that can get the job done quickly and efficiently. After living most of our life in cities, Eric was excellent with his recommendations, and accurate advice for living in the foothills. He gave us advice of what constructions and renovations we should do, and regarding maintenance of acres of wooded land. He had an answer or solution for every question we could come up with, if not right at the moment, he will figure it out and get back to you.
When problems and delays arose, he was prompt in informing us, and worked hard to negotiate a better deal. The best qualities about Eric is that he will be honest, straightforward, and realistic about expectations and anything during the process. He will let you know, if he doesn't think a house price is not worth it, or if it is not a good fit for you. We were really grateful for that, since sometimes you can be blinded by the beauty of a place and ignore the red flags. Eric is very courteous, calm, patient, and will keep you grounded.
With all the complications that arose during our escrow process, Eric was in constant correspondence with us, the mortgage lender, the title company, and the seller's entourage, to make sure we got the best deal, and the best value. He kept the pressure going, and tried to resolve everything as quickly as he could. If we had questions, and we had a lot, he was available, or made sure someone was available to answer our questions and put our minds at ease. It was nice to have someone else who had the knowledge, experience, and skills required to maneuver in the system, while keeping your best interest at heart, and making it a less stressful and easy experience for you. That's what makes his special and different from other real estate professional. And I think he actually likes the challenges, and has fun with it!
My husband and I, are truly grateful to Eric for making the dream of owning our first home together a reality. We wholeheartedly would recommend Eric Hatch to anyone. Thank you Eric and keep rocking!!!
