A lifelong resident of Arlington Heights, Eric Hedstrom brings deep community roots and a strong sense of service to McAllister Real Estate. A graduate of Prospect High School, Eric earned a full scholarship to Purdue University, where he was a starting offensive lineman and completed a degree in Law and Society.

In 2013, Eric began a distinguished career with the Elmhurst Police Department, earning multiple commendations including Performance of Duty awards, Letters of Recognition, and numerous Unit Citations. His years in law enforcement have given him a sharp understanding of the people, neighborhoods, and local businesses that make this area so unique.

Eric is a proud and active member of the community—often spotted at Frontier Days, standing tall above the crowd. He purchased his first home in Arlington Heights, where he lives with his wife, two children, and their two energetic rescue dogs.

Eric was a great real estate agent for both finding my new condo and selling my old one. I feel that he gave me great advice about how much to offer and what to sell my place for. The new place I'm in was in a building that wasn't on my radar before talking with Eric, and it's a much better fit for me than some of the ones I looked up on Zillow.

Eric was great to work with in the process of selling Mom’s house! He had a plan and was able to get the sale done seamlessly even considering some bumps in the road caused by others. He really cares about his clients which shows up in part to his attention to details, great communication skills, and making it clear that no questions are unimportant to him. Eric is a true professional in every sense of the word and on top of that, he is one of the finest persons you could ever hope to meet. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a top notch realtor.
