Based on the island of Maui in Hawaii, Eric focuses on the island’s luxury sector, from exclusive new developments and one-of-a-kind residences to beachfront estates and mountain top retreats.
After receiving a Master’s in Education from Texas Christian University and working as both a teacher and administrator, Eric has developed an amazing skill set of clear communication, impactful decision making, and supportive insights. Through to today, Eric has carried these valuable traits into his role within the real estate market and the elite level of service he provides to his clients.
Following his career in education, Eric pivoted into the private equity and asset management industry, primarily focused on overseeing the successful investment and development of various real estate holdings. Eric oversaw various Maui-based projects including The Montage Kapalua Bay Resort, one of the premiere collections of luxury properties on Maui, with which he oversaw property management transitions, branding relaunches, and capital improvement plans. Additionally, Eric has acted as Corporate Director and Principal Broker through Powerplay Destination Properties, a luxury real estate sales and marketing firm.
Having now spent over 9 years in the real estate industry and sold over $500 million dollars’ worth of newly developed and existing properties, Eric is repeatedly recognized by his colleagues and his peers for his continued successes. Bolstering Eric’s successes are his unparalleled work ethic, intricate knowledge of the island, and unwavering dedication to detail, ensuring that every transaction for his clients is not only prosperous, but also seamless.
Eric resides locally on the west-side of Maui and when not tending to his professional endeavors, he can regularly be found taking full advantage of the outdoor-driven Hawaiian lifestyle by playing a round of golf at one of the island’s many highly rated courses.
Partnered alongside his colleague Jennifer Edwards, the duo has become an authority within the Hawaiian real estate market, bringing together and building upon each other's reliable resources, significant collection of contacts, and overall industry-leading expertise. Having recently joined Compass, Eric and Jennifer are excited to leverage the company’s new industry-leading technology, innovative tools, and dedicated luxury support staff to elevate their client’s real estate experiences even further.
Together, Eric & Jennifer’s heightened approach to their profession has served them well, repeatedly setting sale records within the Maui market and continually ranking as top producers within the industry. The pair has recorded some of the highest condo sales on the westside of Maui since 2018, with three of their 2021 sales ranking in the top 10 deals for the year, island wide. Most recently, the team closed nearly $140 million dollars’ worth of real estate in 2021 and are on par to continue their theme of outstanding sales in 2022 and beyond.
