Eric Rogan is a third generation native of Albemarle County. Having spent his formative years living in Free Union and later in the Rugby Avenue neighborhood in Charlottesville, Eric was able to enjoy all that the area had to offer. From dirt biking and canoeing in the scenic countryside to walking on the downtown mall or across the UVA campus, Eric’s experiences as a youth created a deep connection to the area.
After attending St. Anne’s Belfield, Eric graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY in 2002. In 2005, Eric designed and built his home in Free Union, sparking interests in carpentry, stonemasonry and property management. Eric spent the majority of the next decade as a freelance carpenter before starting Rogan Custom Contracting, LLC in 2014. Since, Rogan Custom Contracting has been performing projects of all scales including new home construction, additions, remodels, site development, and subdividing properties. Additionally, working in construction has led to a network of reliable professionals including property surveyors, structural engineers, suppliers and contractors. These experiences have prepared Eric for a career in real estate as he is uniquely qualified to make comprehensive home and property evaluations. In his free time, Eric is likely to be working on his properties, biking or hiking with his wife and boys, attending UVA sports, or pursuing his ongoing love of golf.
