Esteban Contreras

Esteban Contreras is a Bakersfield based real estate professional and founder of Vanguard Realty Investments, bringing over a decade of experience in the industry. He began his career in 2015 selling residential real estate before being recruited by Marcus and Millichap, where he specialized in apartment and multifamily sales from 2017 to 2019 and earned the prestigious Rising Star award in 2019. In 2020, he co founded Central Valley Property Advisors CVPA, further expanding his presence in the multifamily investment space and advising clients on acquisitions and dispositions across the Central Valley. During his time at CVPA, Esteban helped facilitate over 150 million dollars in real estate transaction volume.

In 2025, Esteban launched Vanguard Realty Investments powered by Watson Realty to realign with his long term vision, focusing on large off market multifamily opportunities while continuing to serve clients in the luxury residential market. That same year, he earned the CoStar "Power Broker" award and Watson Realty’s "Circle of Excellence award", a reflection of his relentless work ethic, sharp market insight, and client first approach.
