Raised on Cape Cod in the town of Sandwich, Farrah DiPietro hails from a group of families commonly referred to as "townies". Her great-aunt Nan McCann founded the original Sandwich Boardwalk that leads to Town Neck Beach. She took swimming lessons at Sandy Neck Beach and made floats for the Fourth of July parade. She was part of the last graduating class of the century to leave Sandwich High School, and simply could not imagine herself growing up anywhere else. To this day she still lives and works nearby, and retains her commitment to helping Cape Cod thrive in 2020 and beyond.
After college, she worked in production on various television shows. Her most memorable job was conducting research for a healthy-living cooking show called, "Gen's Guiltless Gourmet". But upon her return to the Cape Cod, it was evident she had to make a career change since there are no mass production studios here. She could not but take seriously this valuable advice from her Father: "You should get your real estate license; you're Aunt Joan was a talented real estate agent." Thus, she went on to get her real estate license and has been proud to follow in her aunt's footsteps, beginning her career at the very same office her aunt used to work in. She has a true passion for real estate. She gets to study history and architecture, and most importantly she has the recurring opportunity to help people when they are starting new chapters of their lives. She cannot help but feel thrilled on their behalf each time a sale is final.
Recently, she has also had the welcome opportunity to be a part of the team at Heritage Sands, the Cape's first cottage community in nearly 50 years. The community has since won many awards for employing sustainable design and construction practices, including "Community of the Year" by The National Association of Home Builders. Working closely with the architects and builders, she tailor-made each one of their oceanfront cottages for her clients so that each is unique to the tastes of each homeowner. Now that the community is sold out, she has found a new role at William Raveis where she matches buyers and sellers on Cape Cod and the Greater Boston area. Please feel free to reach out to her with any of your real estate concerns at 508-209-8465.
