A dream that I thought was out of reach, was made possible by Flo the Realtor and her team. On February 12 of this year, I was told that the owner I was renting from wanted to move back into her house. My first thought was damn, what am I going to do. I looked around for other rentals but everything was so overpriced and not enough space. My credit was shot (497) to be exact. Where do I begin, I wanted to take my time in writing this review so that I leave nothing uncovered.  I started this journey later than most at the tender age of 50 & literally off of a whim (a just because/what if moment).  I never thought I could pre-qualify let alone get fully approved weeks later and as such I never tried.  I thought it was unobtainable.  Oh, how I was wrong.

My process began with a phone call to Floretta (Flo) Davis-Trent late May 2022 inquiring about area homes.  Unbeknown to me, I would be walking into a brand new one a month later.

I can’t speak highly enough of Flo… her honesty, professionalism, and work ethic are indescribable.  No matter the day of week, time of day, or if she was on vacation, Flo was never out of reach and kept me informed every step of the way.  The knowledge of the business, type of home, the connection to the right lending firm that matched my financial story, and the skill demonstrated was unbelievable to watch.  It all happened so fast, it left me in awe repeatedly.  Flo, is a vibe!  Flo is who you need!  She kept me motivated and guided me for the entire process. Because I am self employed I have to do a manual UW which was stressful and time consuming to say the least. I was in UW for well over a month on top of COVID slowing things down, And during this time she held my deal together, kept the sellers well informed and communicated directly with all parties including the lender. Purchasing a home was just an idea in my head for the future until I had a conversation with the owner Floretta of Flo D Realtor. Immediately that dream became a reality. Her team walk me through the process every step of the way and I also received plenty perks for being a first time homeowner. I also received a lot of education and pointers. My experience was great and it was nothing like the horror stories I hear from others who are purchasing a home. We also talked about my future realestate goals and plans. I have referred so many and will continue to do so. Buying a home should be a great experience and “Team Flo D” made sure of that!!!

My experience with Floretta was absolutely wonderful. My father-in-law passed away unexpectedly just after we started looking. I kept in touch with her while we were out of the country for the funeral and despite the 12-hour time difference, Floretta was incredibly responsive to my numerous messages and questions. Ultimately, she helped us find our first home after we returned, which we couldn't be happier with. She is a beacon of positive energy in the otherwise time consuming and paperwork intensive process of buying a home. She efficiently leverages technology and has a team to support her. I enthusiastically recommend her.

Floretta Was On Her Game From The First Day I Contacted Her Until My Closing The First Day I Contacted Her She Was Sending Me Houses To Look At The Day Of Closing The Seller Still Needed To Fix Something She Negotiated At The Closing Table For This To Fix It Immediately Or Give Me Money To Have It Fixed She Motivated Me Through Out The Process When I Thought It Was Two Much Cause My Broker Was Driving Me Crazy She Walked Me Through It I Know For Sure My Next Purchase Will Be Through Her As Well 😌
