Gail Short

Gail grew up on a horse farm in the Kingston/Stone Ridge area that was created from an old farmhouse with lots of acreage. The weekends were all about work to build the farm, but the satisfaction was incredible. Having learned this at a very early age, thereby was born her love for real estate and an ongoing appreciation for the pleasures of country living.

She still lives on part of the old family farm and has created a gentlemen’s (gentlewoman’s?) horse farm of her own. She feels fortunate to have been able to choose the life she wanted for herself in the Hudson Valley. Her family and her horses are of course her first love, but real estate is a close second.

Real estate comes naturally to Gail. Her lifelong ties to this area, her own professional work history including appraising, a few renovations/flips, plus many years in listing and selling properties all add up to a very satisfying life. Her real estate transactions are many but so are the good friends and acquaintances that have come from them.
