Gary has been with Oak Realty for 21 years and has lived in the Annandale area for 40 years. An Annandale High School graduate, Gary attended school in Iowa and later worked in the golf industry in the Annandale area and Phoenix, Arizona. It was there he says he gained experience working with people in a professional and respectful manner. He followed his father's footsteps into the real estate and appraisal business with Dagner & Associates in 1988 and also with Oak Realty in 1997. No other agent, besides Steve, has been with Oak Realty as long. He is truly a Seriously Local real estate agent, as his long history in the area and his deep understanding of real estate earn the trust of buyers and sellers alike. Gary was part owner of local appraisal company Dagner & Associates in Annandale, which gave him a unique knowledge of the Heart of the Lakes real estate business by observing both the active and sold sides of the market. He is also experienced in the distressed property market (short sales and foreclosures). For the past 20 years he has been an active, full time agent in real estate. Gary has been recognized by the Minneapolis/St Paul Magazine for being a top real estate agent and has achieved the Super Real Estate Agent award for 3 years in a row. The designation is only awarded to three to five percent of real estate agents in Minnesota. Gary is a well-rounded agent helping buyers with everything from first-time homes to high-end real estate. He strives to make the experience of buying and selling less stressful by focusing on helping clients make decisions that bring them to a happier place. He says he loves to see the smiles on his clients faces when they close on their home purchase. Gary and his wife Hollie reside in Clearwater with their 3 children. He is an avid golfer, and enjoys gardening and vacationing in his spare time. He is active with their children and their busy lives.
