About Gayle
Gayle Oberg began practicing real estate in 1985, taking some time off to raise her children here in Stowe in the 90’s. After returning to Real Estate full time, Gayle spent 12 years with a local company and in 2014 opened her own, independent company, Little River Realty. In 2021, Gayle joined forces with Element Real Estate as they expanded their services to the Stowe and Waterbury Areas.
Gayle is proudly supporting "GREEN" decisions in real estate and life. She assists buyers and sellers in focusing on the value of sustainable living choices in the homes we live in. “Home is a very special place. Decisions to purchase or sell are often major life decisions and always major financial decisions. I have profound respect for the process and feel the best service I can offer clients is education. I do not “sell” anyone a home. I provide important, accurate, information so buyers and sellers can make educated decisions that serve them well as they move forward.” Gayle Oberg grew up in Springfield, Vermont, skiing at Okemo. She is a Johnson State College Alumni, a former Physical Education, Health Education and Driver Education teacher. Gayle, a lifetime ski enthusiast, was the first female member of The Mt. Mansfield Ski Patrol, known at the time as “The Black Knights” to earn full time, paid, status by successfully completing the test of bringing a “sled” (toboggan), loaded with a live passenger, down The National, one of Mt. Mansfield’s famous Front Four trails.
Additional past professions include teaching skiing and swimming as well as working as a Director of Windridge Tennis Camp at Teela Wooket in Roxbury, Vermont. Gayle appreciates the outdoor environment in Vermont and loves to get outside to golf, bike, hike, downhill and cross country ski, swim and walk! Gayle spent many years volunteering in youth ice hockey, including collaborating with a strong group of volunteers to bring Girls Ice Hockey to be recognized by the Vermont Principal Association and into the schools as a varsity sport. Gayle has served as a Past President for The Lamoille Area Board of Realtors. Gayle resides in Waterbury Center with her husband Bob Simeone. Bob is an avid fly fisherman and together Gayle & Bob enjoys skiing, golf, and time with the grandchildren.
