About Gene

As a life-long resident of Central Illinois, I am familiar with Peoria, Morton, Pekin, Tremont, and the entire Central Illinois area, and would love the opportunity to help you find your ideal home.

I was raised in Tremont, and graduated from Tremont High School in 1977. After attending Illinois Central College, I worked in the family software business until 2010, when I began my real estate career with RE/MAX. After 35 years of marriage, my wife (Teri) and I decided to move to East Peoria. I continue to specialize in Tazewell County, but am very familiar with all areas in Central Illinois.

In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, cycling, running, and the sport of Triathlon. As a 5-time Ironman Triathlon finisher, I enjoy encouraging others into the the sport.
