Selling a house is stressful for a variety of reasons: Death, finances, and just plain out of my area of expertise were three of my top stressors which caused a great deal of worry and anxiety.
George Z was compassionate and patient when I was sad and slow to process. He was informative in a way that I could understand and retain what I was learning, and he encouraged my accomplishments while politely offering help on things I could not get to. If I showed up to work on the house exterior, George showed up shortly after or even beat me to it, working hard on cleaning the roof, pressure washing the concrete, and with raking and sweeping, well before we even talked about when to put the house on the market.
George has a great balance of patience and persistence. He did not overwhelm and did not let the ball drop. For this I am most grateful.

With George's assistance he walked me thru the house giving me information I would need to make a decision on whether buy the house. We happened to be paired with him randomly when we requested to speak to a realtor about a listing on Zillow, and it was the best thing that could have happened to us on our home buying journey. Beyond just being excellent at his job, he is incredibly thoughtful and thorough making sure you're comfortable with and fully understand every step of the process. If I ever had any questions or wanted to check on anything he was available around the clock (even while juggling 5 other deals at the same time). I am a first time home buyer and George took the time during our sit down to just go through all the details. He gave me invaluable advice about the home buying process and then let me decide if I wanted to proceed with him.
While looking for homes he was detailed in his scrutiny of each detail that matters and isn’t something a new buyer would know to look at. As we would look at a house he used it as an opportunity to teach me what I should be looking for. Safety hazards and health risks.

I knew my house would be problematic to sell. George really came through for me. He was there every step of the way. If I had a question, he answered it promptly, even at night. His advice on preparing the place for sale was invaluable. He told me what to paint and what to fix and when to stop painting and fixing, and he was right. He was at the house with his hands-on help weeks before I actually hired him. He exerted his optimistic, calming influence during the entire listing period. George did 2 open houses virtually every weekend of the listing. My house was not convenient to get to, but he was unfazed. His innovative marketing was what ultimately proved successful. I have bought and sold over 10 homes over the last few years and worked with many great realtors, but George stands out as one of the best I have ever worked with. When I first called George he was very responsive and totally understands the concept of being a servant leader to his clients. We were in a very competitive market and because of his skill and quick responses we were able to negotiate the purchase of a home for my parents beating out 3 other parties in a competitive bid situation. Even with that he used some skills to keep us from paying to much. Turns out the house is actually worth way more than we paid for it in a competitive market. I have never worked with someone who does such a great job of communicating and keeping us constantly informed through the whole process. You will not find a better realtor than George. There are many good realtors out there, but few that are as exceptional as George.

George spent the day with us and got a feel for what we were looking for. Over the next few weeks he sent us property listings and checked in with us. My husband and I had no idea what we were doing when it came to buying a house and to be quite honest, we were terrified. George took the time to sit down and explain what each step of the process was and the terms that went along with each step. He made himself available to fit our scheduling needs, as crazy as they were. He was always just a phone call, or text away when we weren’t sure about something, wanted to see a home or needed to ask the same question for the hundredth time, and he was more than happy to help. He really listened to what we wanted and worked really hard, for us to get exactly what we wanted. In the end, we got the most beautiful home, and we are beyond happy with it. I knew George Zakhary before I needed a realtor and he was a great guy. The type of person you want to be around. I had lived in my house for over twenty years and it was in need of some repairs. I was very overwhelmed as I was forced to relocate and was living out of town. George came over looked around and said " were going to make a plan and execute it." He was there every step of the way and was a huge help. George has a great network of people if you need their help. His honesty and integrity are something to aspire to. He really knows what he's doing.
