Gerardo “Jerry” Ascencio is the Broker-Owner of San Fernando Realty/Mission Real Estate, serving the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys with over 35 years of real estate expertise. Beginning his career in 1988 at just 20 years old, Jerry quickly became one of the youngest REALTORS® in the San Fernando Valley to achieve multi-million dollar production by age 21. In 1993, he co-founded San Fernando Realty, Inc., growing the office from 12 to over 120 agents and brokers, and expanding to four branches and an escrow division dedicated to first-class service.
A native of Michoacán, Mexico, Jerry’s personal journey as an immigrant has inspired his lifelong advocacy for homeownership and economic empowerment. He is a recognized leader in the industry, having served as 2012 President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), the largest minority real estate trade association in the U.S., and as the founding president of the NAHREP San Fernando-Santa Clarita chapter. Jerry is also a former Chairman of the NAHREP Foundation and serves on the board of the National Hispanic Construction Alliance (NHCA).
Jerry’s commitment to professional excellence is reflected in his numerous designations, including GRI, CRS, and e-PRO, and his active involvement with the Southland Regional Association of REALTORS® (SRAR) as a board member, mediator, arbitrator, and committee chair. He is a passionate educator, regularly contributing to ethics training for new REALTORS®.
