Gia and Scott Arvin of Matchmaker Realty are the perfect duo in buying or selling a home. They were both born and raised in Gainesville, Florida and have been selling real estate in the area for over 15 years. Scott and Gia’s biggest joy is their daughter Avery, their mini farm of animals, and of course the Florida Gators.
Gia was born and raised in Gainesville. She graduated from Buchholz High School, Santa Fe Community College, and the University of Florida. She moved to St. Augustine after graduation and worked for the St. Johns County School Board for two years until her husband graduated from Flagler College. She then moved back to Gainesville and joined her mother's company, Matchmaker Realty of Alachua County Inc. She has been awarded the Honor Society Award 2005-2017 from the Gainesville-Alachua County Association of Realtors and was named Realtor of the Year in 2010. Gia is the Past President of the Gainesville/Alachua Association of Realtors, Past District Vice President for Florida Realtors, and a past Florida State President for the Women's Council of Realtors.
Scott was born in Naples, Florida, but grew up in Gainesville. He attended Glen Springs, Stephen, Foster, Talbot, Fort Clarke, Buchholz, and Santa Fe Community College. He graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, with a degree in Communications and a minor in Advertising. Scott was honored in 2007 with the Women's Council of Realtors, Realtor of the Year. He also has been awarded the Honor Society Award 2005-2017. He served as President for the Women's Council of Realtors in 2009-2010. Scott is the past President of the Gainesville/Alachua County Association of Realtors and past DVP for the Florida Chapter of the Certified Residential Specialists. His greatest joy, whether it is an investment property, business opportunity, or single-family home, is a satisfied client. Scott and Gia's biggest joy is their daughter Avery, their mini farm of animals, and of course, the Florida Gators.
