We had an incredible experience with the Burk Brokerage and Burk construction team ! Our real estate agent Debbie Lewis was amazing through out the process - she was patient and understanding and worked hard to get us the best deal - I remember walking in to the house and falling in love with the layout and we knew it had great potential however it was not until Debbie, Ellie and Lacey showed us some inspiration pictures of what this home could possibly look like - that is when we decided to take the leap of faith and bought the house . We trusted them instantly and we are so so glad that we did !! What was great about this whole experience was that the realtor company and construction company were under one roof - which made it so easy - They had a full team of project managers ( Patrick and Will ) Construction Management team ( Kevin and Mark ) and the sweetest
Interior designer Lacey Holdsworth . The experience with the entire team was amazing-
They went above and beyond to make our dream home a reality . I cannot thank everyone on the team enough. We got to know some amazing people through this project - as with any renovation projects we had a few hiccups- however they were taken care of in a timely manner and efficiently ! We highly recommend Burk- both as a real estate company as well as their construction team - The whole package !

What could have been stressful situations was made simple and actually fun by Debbie's uplifting spirit and positive energy. Stephen Ford was my realtor for my home purchase. I had some targets in mind and he used those targets to do a comprehensive search. When it came down to the final 2 options, Stephen worked closely with me and my mortgage lender to run and re-run the numbers on various scenarios. We asked a lot of Stephen as we were relocating for work and along with having very specific requests for our home we also asked for the process to be completed in just over 21 days so we could move right in once we reached Louisiana with our belongings. Needed little odd-job repairs and touch-ups but could never get anyone to actually show up and do the work - BB had a crew come and got it all done in a few days. Debbie Lewis was our realtor for the sale of our home in New Orleans, where we lived there for the past twenty one years. She was also our realtor when we purchased our new home in Metairie.

It was emotional selling our one hundred year home in New Orleans. Debbie represented us well. WIth any sale, there is always a glitch, here and there. Debbie and the staff of Burke Brokerage Real Estate handled the negations when there were issues.

The photos of our home were stunning. Their photographer did a wonderful job.

We had some painting done to our home, pre sale. Debbie had recommendations. Same, prior to moving to our new home. We were pleased with the results.

With the purchase of our new home, Debbie was excellent. We looked all over New Orleans and some areas of Metairie.
She was always patient. We knew what we wanted but were unsure about what we did not want, until we viewed the property.

We love our new home, it was a great purchase.

Sharon Thomas was our realtor for our very first commercial / industrial property acquisition in New Orleans. Purchasing such a property requires some additional discovery largely around environmental waste and the activities of the other surrounding properties. We really appreciated their professionalism and constant advice. WOW simply WOW, Debbie and Ellie were amazing in helping my son and I find a home in NOLA. We started off trying to find a rental for my son who is returning to Loyola and quickly realized that it was better for us to buy. We live in DC and this is the first time I have purchased a home sight unseen. Ellie Face Timed with us so we could get an idea of what we were buying. She went to the Home Inspection for us and made the whole process simple fun and easy. When it came time to negotiate on the price Debbie was the iron fist in a silk glove. Be very wary if you find yourself negotiating against Debbie. She will leave feeling great while you give her everything she asks for. Thank goodness she was on our side of the transaction. We got everything we wanted plus. Debbie is also a wealth of knowledge and was able to introduce us to Miguel and Linda, the power couple of home repair and cleaning.
