Originally from the Philippines, Gilbert graduated with distinction earning a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from San Beda College in Manila, moving thereafter to the US to follow his dreams of “traveling, seeing the world, and finding happiness.” He worked as a corporate accountant for fifteen years, starting at Ernst and Young and eventually becoming a senior accountant for investment companies in private equity and hedge funds at Coast Asset and Kayne Anderson in Los Angeles. His decision to transition into real estate 8 years ago was prompted by a desire for self-fulfillment which he saw he could achieve by making clients happy and finding the home of their dreams. Gilbert’s blend of integrity, professionalism, and technical knowledge complements his grounded and informed approach to giving clients a sound advantage in a competitive, ultra-evolving market.
