Lifelong Pasadena resident Gretchen B. Seager found her passion for real estate after spending nine years as a touring musician in the music business. She began her career working alongside her mother, Gretchen M. Seager, whose retirement ended an impressive and highly successful 40-year career in Pasadena real estate.
Today, Gretchen is a top-producing agent in her office who possesses an innate insider’s knowledge of the real estate markets of Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Altadena, La Canada, San Gabriel, Glendale, Sierra Madre, Eagle Rock, and Highland Park. She is able to provide rare insight into the valley’s neighborhoods, history, growth, and schools—especially valuable for families relocating or those navigating the rich public and private academic offerings in the area. A highly experienced advisor with a keen interest in architecture, Gretchen is known and trusted by her clients for not only her strong advocacy and her open communication, but also for her expertise in the marketing and sales of architecturally significant homes in the San Gabriel Valley. She is a very knowledgeable and reassuring guide during each transaction, and as a result has been building and maintaining lasting relationships with her clients in the community, she has enjoyed living in for over 50 years.
Gretchen grew up in San Marino and later Pasadena, attending Valentine Elementary, Westridge School for Girls for middle school, and graduating high school from Polytechnic. She received her BA in French literature from UC Berkeley.
