Ely has resided in the Upper East Side of Manhattan for nearly 20 years. She is a mother of 2 children. Before working real estate, she and her husband owner and operated a beloved sushi restaurant in the Upper East Side for 13 years.

Ely also embarked in a Japanese gift shop business. Both of these fields depended on her ability to listen to understand customer needs and desires, and have a strategic and creative style.
