Living in the Lakes Region for more than 20 years with his wife Colleen and being a four-term Town of Gilford Selectman (currently serving) and having raised their children whom attended Gilford High School: Saige (29) Corporate Counsel at Circle Corporation in Boston, MA, Malcolm (23) enrolled in the Nursing program at Quincy, MA College, and Noelle (21) enrolled in the Engineering Program at Wentworth Institute of Technology, he brings firsthand experience of what New Hampshire has to offer.

Gus attended Salem State University, majoring in business, concentrating on finance.

As a part of his community, he has been a Representative to the Budget Committee, Historic District, Laconia Airport Authority, member of Laconia Four Square Church, member of the Lake Winnipesaukee Yacht Club and former member of the Gilford Rotary Club.

Gus is an avid boater on Lake Winnipesaukee.
