Heidi Wilson goes the extra mile to deliver tailored real estate services for her buyers and sellers. Personally, Heidi’s less-than-stellar experience with an agent taught her the importance of having a trusted advisor and fiduciary as a representative, and these attributes are integral to her character.
Heidi co-founded Hideaway Properties after more than two decades in the insurance and financial industries. After 13 years as a personal and commercial underwriter for State Farm, she migrated to a boutique wealth management firm, where she held various positions and eventually became its chief compliance officer and then partner. In her decade there, Heidi represented wealthy individuals, including some famous TV stars and pro-athletes. She also learned an advantageous “secret” that most clients — and even agents — aren’t familiar with: funding real estate as a cash buyer using margin loans. Heidi further refined what she possesses in spades: discretion, high-level professionalism, and razor-sharp attention to detail.
Despite her professional achievements, Heidi always took a greater interest in her husband’s real estate career than her own. Flipping homes with Dino was always fulfilling, especially when divulging her enthusiasm for staging and interior design. As for her partnership with Dino, their different strengths make them a great team. Whereas Dino thrives on social connections, Heidi flourishes from managing the business’s social media and behind-the-scenes needs. Heidi thrives when she’s helping others, and she’s motivated by her clients’ happiness and well-being.
Heidi grew up in Sonoma County, spending most of her time in Petaluma, where she now resides. In addition to interior design, Heidi also loves photography and animals. She and Dino organize annual donation drives for people and animals in need. Inspired by Hideaway Properties’ chief furry officer, their senior wiener dog Chip, they also donate to local animal shelters and rescues throughout the year.
