Holly Blanchette

Licensed in 1989, Holly started specializing in waterfront property in 1998. Growing up in the Chicago suburbs and learning to waterski at age 10, Holly looked forward to every opportunity to visit a lake. She has now lived and boated on both the Chain O'Lakes and private lakes in Lake County for over 30 years. This extensive knowledge of the lakes is a great asset in helping her clients find the type of waterfront location that best suits their needs.

Prior to getting her real estate license in 1989, Holly enjoyed teaching junior high English and French and coaching volleyball, basketball, and softball; all sports she played herself. Playing competitively in high school, college, and beyond, Holly applies the same skills necessary for success in her real estate career. Taking care of the details, anticipating and proactively solving problems, and communicating well are the strengths she brings to each real estate transaction. Holly puts her clients first. Whether representing buyers or sellers, her goal is to make the purchase or sale of a home as easy and stress-free as possible. This dedication is evident from her being a Chicago Magazine 5 Star Real Estate Agent award winner, as well as a Hall of Fame realtor.

Holly has been married to her husband, Daryl, for 25 years and they have one son, Tom. In Spring and summer, they enjoy water skiing and wakeboarding. Outdoor sports continue in the winter with ice skating and skiing. Her husband is an avid fisherman all year round. Their son, realizing how much he had enjoyed growing up on a lake, made a waterfront location a priority when searching for his own home.
